- Emma Sue Wendt, age 62 of Ransomville, NY, formerly of Sanborn, was called to her heavenly home on August 15, 2024 at her residence, with her loving family at her side, and under the care of Niagara Hospice. Emma was born in North Tonawanda, NY on October 13, 1961; daughter of the late John Keicher. A graduate of North Tonawanda High School, she earned her associates degree in criminal justice at SUNY Niagara. Emma was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, in the Town of Niagara. She enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing, crafts, and especially the time spent with her grandchildren.Survivors include her husband, Todd Wendt, whom she married January 19, 1985; three children, Kyle (Magan) Wendt, Kari Jones, and Kati (Rich) Keller; six grandchildren, Kyara, Savanna, Richard, Lila, Victoria, and Raella; and nine brothers and sisters. Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Sunday (August 18) from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Kurt Schultz, on Monday (August 19) at 10:30 a.m. in Our Savior Lutheran Church, 2759 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Interment will follow in Mount View Cemetery, Town of Cambria. Memorial contributions may be made to Niagara Hospice.
