  Niagara Gazette - 5/13/1939 NORTH TONAWANDA, May 13- Wilfred G. Volkstadt, 35, who re- sided here until three years ago, died yesterday at his home, 252 Doncaster road, Kenmore. He was a member of Friedens church, Van- dervoort and Schenk streets; Tona- wandas Aerie, No. 1411, F.O.E. of which he was a past president. He was captain of the aerie drill team at the time of his death. Survivors are a wife, Elsie; a son, Wilfred G., Jr.; a father, Charles Volkstadt, Tonawanda; a brother, Howard Volkstatdt, Niagara Falls, and two sisters, Ruth and Florence, North Tonawanda. Rites will be held tomorrow after- noon at 4:30 o'clock from the home of his father, 46 Ransom street. The Rev. Theodore Mayer will conduct the services and burial will be in Friedens cemetery.
