Notes - Georgette K. Janke Vaeth (nee Krull) of North Tonawanda, age 86, passed away December 29, 2009 at Crestwood Healthcare in Wheatfield. Mrs. Vaeth was born February 22, 1923 in North Tonawanda, daughter of the late Arnold and Christine (nee Eggert) Krull. Mrs. Vaeth was a life member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in North Tonawanda, a member of the church choir and member of Women of St. Mark. She was also a member of the Lutheran Service Society, The Missionary League and the North Tonawanda Garden Club. Mrs. Vaeth is predeceased by her husband, Donald Janke, who passed away in 1950, and Robert Vaeth, who passed away in 1997; she is also predeceased by a brother, Erwin Krull; and a sister, Loretta Dimond. Beloved mother of Donnette (late Richard) Plummer of North Tonawanda and Richard (Marlene) Vaeth of Lockport; loving grandmother of Jennifer Plummer; sister of Arthur Krull, Wallace Krull, Evelyn Hanes, Doris Schmidt and Marion Schaeffer; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call THURSDAY 3-5 PM and FRIDAY (New Years Day) 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the WATTENGEL Funeral Home, 307 Oliver Street, North Tonawanda. Funeral services will be held SATURDAY at 11:00 AM from St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1135 Oliver Street, North Tonawanda. Rev. Pat McKenzie will officiate.
