- Judith L. Blakelock, age 83 of the Town of Niagara, NY, was called peacefully to her heavenly home on November 9, 2024 while at the Niagara Hospice House in Lockport. Born in Sugar Hill, PA on August 22, 1941; she was the daughter of the late Arden and Elsie (Wingove) VanNorman. She moved to Niagara Falls in 1960, and was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, on Military Road in the Town of Niagara. Judith had been employed at Marsh's General Store, and the former Myla's Fabrics. She was a Girl Scout Leader, and enjoyed sewing, cooking and baking.Survivors include her husband, William "Bill" Blakelock whom she married May 20, 1961; a daughter, Sandy (Ron) Cirrito; two sons, Mark (Cassie) Blakelock, and Brian Blakelock; sisters, Doris Schmidt (late Harold), Nancy Schul (late Karl), Margie Reed, Linda Arnold (late Wayne); brother-in-law Kent (Phyliss) Blakelock; Grandchildren, Chris (Sarah), Jonny, Nicole (Juan), Nico (Melissa), Michael, and Angelo; great-grandchildren, Francesca, Giovanni, Luca, Jionni, Juliana, Angelo Jr., and Jayla.She was predeceased by a sister, Donna (John) Hoffman; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law Gertrude and Robert Blakelock.Visitation will take place on Wednesday (November 13) from 5-7 p.m. at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield. Services will follow visitation at 7:00 p.m., with the Rev. Kurt Schultz, officiating. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.
