  March 7, 2012 William F. Shomers Niagara Gazette BUFFALO — William F. Shomers, March 6, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Gracia (Mae) Shomers. Dear father of David William Shomers, Deborah (Ronald) Pulley and William R. (Patricia) Shomers. Survived by four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Brother of Joyce (Carl) Schultz. Predeceased by eight siblings. Family and friends received on Saturday from 10-11 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, 1424 Maple Rd. (Williamsville), where services will follow at 11 AM. All are invited. Private interment in Acacia Park Cemetery, with military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute for Cancer Research. Mr. Shomers was a member of IBEW Local 237 for 65 years, a life member of North Tonawanda Volunteer Fire Co., and a Navy veteran of WWII.
