  Niagara Gazette - 8/23/1964 J.C. Maerten Dies at 90 After Illness NORTH TONAWANDA— John C. Maerten, 90, of 460 Old Niagara Falls *• Blvd., died Saturday (Aug. 22,1964) at his home after a long illness. Mr. Maerten was a lifelong resident of this city and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Rescue Fire Company, and the N o r t h Tonawanda Firemen's Benevolent Association. He is survived by his wife Minnie Maerten; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Vukovic, Tonawanda; t h r e e sons, Irwin and Leroy Maerten, t.h i s city, and Clinton Maerten, California. Nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. In ttie Hamp Funeral Home. Burial will be In St. Paul's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
