NORTH TONAWANDA — Eleanor R. (nee Leverentz) Senechal, age 88, of North Tonawanda, May 30, 2011 in DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Eleanor was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. She served the Lord faithfully as an LWML officer, preschool teacher, classroom aide and volunteer. She loved sewing, cooking and entertaining guests.
She was the wife of the late Howard Senechal, who died in 1994. Beloved mother of Harold Senechal of Utica, NY, Dale (Linda) Senechal of Boston, MA, and Mark (Susan) Senechal of Houston, TX; grandmother of Matt and Brianna Senechal.
Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Wednesday from 7-8:30 PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 AM. The Rev. Patrick McKenzie will officiate. Interment in St. Mark Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church, the Lymphoma Research Foundation (lymphoma.org) or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (lls.org).
