  Niagara Gazette - 6/15/1959 NORTH TONAWANDA — Gustav E. Lobien, 72, of 68 Klaun Ave., died unexpectedly Sunday (June 14, 1959) in De- Graff Memorial Hospital. Born in this city, he was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, the Brotherhood of the Church, its Home Department and Missionary Society. He was also a member of the 25-Year Club of Remington Rand Inc., where he was formerly employed. He retired several years ago. He was the husband of the late Matie Andres Lebien. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Norman Garlapow; four sisters, Mrs. Lena Siembt; Mrs. Harold Zuch, Mrs. Michael Shannon and Mrs. William Krause and one-grandchild, all of this city. The Rev. Walter F. Hetzel will conduct services at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday In the Wattengel Funeral Home. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Park.
