  Tonawanda Resident Dies at His Home TONAWANDA - William E. Gierke, 65, of 412 Young St.. died unexpectedly Monday (May 13, 1957) in his home. He was a lifelong resident of this city and was employed by the Columbus McKinnon Chain Co. He was a member of Friedens Church. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Oscar Mante, Mrs. Edwin Mante and Miss Lorraine Gierke; a brother, Jacob Schwindamann; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Karsten and Mrs. Clarence Schultz.
