George DeBan
Dies at Home
George DeBan, one time operator
of a confectionary store at
2466 Ontario Ave., died at his
home in Niagara Falls Blvd., Town
of Wheatfield, after suffering a
heart attack a week ago.
Born in Lebanon, Mr. DeBan
came to this city in 1914 after living
nine years in Dover, N. J. He
operated the store for 17 years and
was later employed with the.New
York State Thruway Park Commission
for six years.
Survivors include his wife, Sadie;
two daughters, Miss Marie DeBan
and Miss Rose DeBan; two sons,
Norman DeBan and Harry, DeBan,
this city; a sister, Mrs. Mary Hattern,
Brazil, and a grandson.
Funeral arrangements by the
Tubinis Funeral Home are incomplete.
