Frederick E. Simmons, 84, of 58
Elizabeth St., died yesterday in
I Mercy Hospital after a long illness.
I Mr. Simmons was a life resident
! of Auburn and a retired employe
i of the International Harvester Co.
I Mr. Simmons was a communicant
of St. Alphonsus Church and
a member of its Holy Name Society.
He was a member of Auburn
Lodge 474, BPOE.
Surviving are a son, Frederick '
J. Simmons; a daughter, Mrs.
Thomas Morrissey; a brother, Grover
C. Simmons, all of Auburn;
two sisters, Mrs. Lila Vandenbosch i
of Rochester and Mrs. Frances'
Roach of Auburn; eight grandchil- i
dren, seven great-grandchildren
and several nieces and nephews. ,
Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday
at the family home and at
9:30 a.m. in St. Alphonsus Church.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery,

Services by Auburn Lodge 474,
BPOE, will be at 7 p.m. Sunday
at the family home. Members of
the Holy Name Society will call
at 7:30 p.m. i
Friends may call at their convenience
