Simpkins, of Whitney avenue, on Thursday morning, October 24, at 11 o'clock. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Thomas Oleason at the rectory of the Sacred Heart church. The couple was attended by Miss Genevieve Holohan and Frank J. Oalleciez. The wedding breakfast was held at the Red Coach Inn. alter which the couple left for a short trip. Mr. and Mrs. Simpkins will be at home to their friends at 2220 Whitney avenue after November. Prenuptial affairs held in honor of the bride were a green kitchen shower given by Mrs, Howard Wilson, Mrs. Edwin Smith. Mrs. Gordon Simpkins and Miss isabelle Simpkins at Mrs. Wilson's home in Buffalo avenue; a crystal shower given by Mrs. Edward Wallace at her home in Cleveland avenue: a variety shower given by Mrs. • I. Gordon at her home in Eighty-second street, a personal shower given by the Misses Genevieve and Alice Holohan. at their home in Ontario avenue, and a bridge dinner at Henry Neff's. given by the office force of Niagara university.

  Niagara Gazette - 12/16/1946 Heart Attack Fatal to Mrs. Rose G. Simpkins Mrs. Rose Galleclez Simpkins 37, formerly employed at Niagara university, died of a heart attack today at her home, 2708 Whitney avenue. Born in this city September 16, 1909, a daughter of Mrs. Mary A. Kennan Gallecies, who survives, and the late Frank Al Galleciez, she was a graduate of Niagara Falls high school and the Toronto conservatory of music. She is survived by her husband, Edward E. Simpkins, three daughters, the Misses Mary Marjorie, Lois Ann and Linda Rose Simpkins and three sisters, Mrs. Albert M. Taylor and Miss Catherine R. Galleciez, all of this city; Mrs. O. O. Sykes, Elmlra and two brothers, Francis J Galleciez of this city, and John A. Galleciez of Geneva. Funeral service will be held at the Otto Redanz Funeral home, Michigan avenue and Tenth street, at 8:30 a. m., Thursday and a half hour later at the Sacred Heart church.
