Mishap in

19, Dies
Porter Road
Injured in an automobile mishap
in Porter road, Town of Niagara,
early Saturday evening, Frederick
Skurski. 19 years old, of the Swan
road, Ransomville, died a short
time later In Memorial hospital,
this city. The case was Investigated
by Dr. Harry R. Ernes,, state
police and Constable Wilbur Towers.
Death was due to a fractured skull
and internal Injuries resulting from
a crushed chest.
Skurski was driving a light truck
east In Porter road when the accident
accurred according to the
trooper's report. The truck apparently
went out of control, swerved
into the ditch and then struck a
telephone pole, breaking it off, before
it rolled over on its side.
Skurski was thrown clear.
The youth is survived by his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Skurski,
and the following brothers and sisters.
John, Mrs. William Smith and
Frances Skurski. of this city, and
Lottie. Bennle, Edward and Frank
Skurski. of Ransomville. Funeral
services will be held Wednesday
morning at 9 o'clock from the home
and at 10 o'clock In St. Stanislaus
I church. Twenty-fourth street. Bur-
' ial will be In Holy Trinity cemetery
