BUFFALO — Charles R. “Ross” Crabtree, Jr., 74, formerly of Lewiston, NY, died on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Delaware Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Buffalo, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Charles R. and Margaret (Kenny) Crabtree, Sr.
Ross, as he was known by family and friends, attended local schools and served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was employed as an electrician at Occidental Chemical Co. in Niagara Falls, NY for 35 years. Ross was an avid bowler and participated in several local bowling leagues.
Mr. Crabtree is survived by his wife, Priscilla “Pat” A. (Scales) Mulé-Crabtree; two step-daughters, Aimee (Raymond) Lehner of West Falls, NY and Christa Mulé of Niagara Falls, NY; three step-grandchildren, Tyler Mulé, Pasqualina Lehner and Francesca Lehner; two sisters, Maureen Crabtree of California and Carol Mack of Springville, NY; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 15th at 12 noon in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY, with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association of WNY, 2805 Wehrle Drive, Suite 6, Williamsville, NY 14221, or National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 1650 South Avenue, Suite 100, Rochester, NY 14620.
