  Niagara Gazette - 7/15/1953 August .Reitch, 74, North Tonawanda, Dies NORTH TONAWANDA, July 15—August Reitch, 74, of 266 Tremont street, died last evening in his home after a long illness. Mr. Reitch was born in Germany and lived in the Tonawandas for the last 35 years. He is survived by his wife, Christine Reitch; two daughters, Mrs. Edward Eagan and Mrs. Gerald Lane; three sons, Chester, Louis and Melvin Reitch; a brother, Herman Reitch, all of the Tonawandas; two sisters, Mrs. George Stoeckel, Lockport, and Mrs. Frank Douck, -Escanaba, Mich» Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Wattengel funeral home, 307 Oliver street. Burial will be in Elmlawn cemetery.
