In the presence of the immediate
family and a few close friends
on June 6 in St. Mark's Evangelical
Lutheran church. Miss Violet
Stoeckel, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. William Stoeckel, of 101
Linwood avenue, North Tonawanda,
became the bride of Cpl
CamiUe Berube, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Charles Berube of Dracut,
Mass. The Rev. Paul Fretthold
officiated at the double ring
ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Stoeckel,
brother and sister-in-law of the
bride were the attendants.
The bride wore a two piece
white flannel street dress, with
white accessories and a corsage
of American Beauty roses, white
sweetpeas and lilies of the valley.
Mrs. Stoeckel, as matron-ofhonor
chose a gold crepe street
dress, with white accessories and
a corsage of gardenias.
The bride's mother wore a tomato-
red dress with a corsage
of corn flowers, yellow roses and
sweetpeas.
Following the ceremony, a reception
for about 60 guests was
given at the home of the bride's
aunt, Mrs. Pauline Innis. Baskets
of flowers decorated the rooms.
A buffet luncheon was served
from a long table featuring all
white decorations.
Cpl. and Mrs. Stoeckel left for
a few days visit with the groom's
parents in Dracut, Mass Upon
the expiration of his furlough, Cpl.
Berube will report back to Camp
Gordon, Ga. Mrs. Berube will
make her home with her aunt,
Mrs. Innis, in Ward road.
