He was an agent for the New York Life Insurance Co. Born in this city, he lived in Pendleton most of his life. He was a m e m b e r of -the Third Presbyterian . Church h e r e and of Sutherland Lodge No. 826, F&AM. Surviving is his w i d o w, D o r o t h y Holland Smoyer. Mr. Smoyer was a son of the late Dr. and - Mrs. H e n r y Smoyer, this city. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Wattengell Funeral Home, w h e re services will be conducted by Rev. Richard Bodey at 1:30 p.m. Wendesday. Burial will be in Acacia Fark Cemetery.
