- Bonnie (Hartwig) Kephart, of Niagara Falls, NY, died on Friday, January 29, 2010 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence, following a brief illness. She was 69. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on March 1, 1940, a daughter of the late Donald and Verna Lillian (Landes) Hartwig. She attended local schools and was graduated from Niagara Falls High School.She worked as a sales clerk at several businesses at the Factory Outlet Mall. Bonnie was very active with her kids, attending and chaperoning many band field trips. She also chaperoned Shawnee Bugle Corps field trips. She taught dance at Miss Bev's. She was a member of the LaSalle Sportsman Club Ladies Auxiliary and its former Mother Club; Niagara Lazy Lakes, Zion Lutheran Church and attended Grace Lutheran Church. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and her many trips to Florida and Disney World with her family. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Blair Kephart; three children, Blair Kephart (Jennifer) and Shelley Farris, both of Niagara Falls, Shawn Kephart (Jill) of Grand Island; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Donald Scott Kephart in 2003. Friends may call Sunday from 1-4, 7-9 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 AM, with the Rev. Matthew Sorenson officiating.
