The m a r r i a g e of Miss J e n n i e Mary
S t r i e k e r of Grove avenue to Charles
Wells Simons of Nineteenth street,
was solemnlzed at the Free Methodist
c h u r c h on Wednesday evening
at six o'clock, the Rev. J. I. McCollough
officiating. The bride w a s
becomingly attired In a gown of
flesh-colored crepe trimmed with
g e o r g e t t e , and carried an a rm bouquet
of bride roses. Tho m a t r o n of
honor, Mrs. Mildred Thompson, a ,
school chum from Kingston, N. Y
wore a blue crepe trimmed with
c r e am lace and carried a bouquet
of Ophelia roses. After tho cere-
mony a wedding supper was served
at -the home of Mr. and Mrs. S.
Wltmer of Grove avenue to about evening,
t h i r t y friends and relatives. The
b r i d e ' s table, with covers for fourteen,
was very daintily trimmed I
with the pink and white color'
scheme I n t e r s p e r s e d with fern leaves
and centered with a beautiful wed-
ding cake. Mr. and Mrs. Simons
loft for eastern cities and will be
at home to friends at No. 1115
Michigan avenue after October
15th.
