  Niagara Gazette - 5/19/1950 Ira W. Swick Dies Here at 88 Ira W. Swick. 88, one of the city's oldest resldents and former city milk and food Inspectors, died today at his home, 1118 Niagara avenue. Funeral services for Mr. Swick will be held at the Cornell and Dag- gett Funeral home at 2 pm. on Sun day. Born in Wilson, Mr. Swick came to this city 57 years ago. He built the family home In Niagara avenue when the present area Included in the city comprised three villages, Suspension Bridge, Clarksvllle and Niagara Falls. Mr. Swick served as milk inspector from 1919 until his retirement in 1938. He formerly owned the Swick bakery In Suspension Bridge. He was a life-long member of the First Congregational church. Surviving are a son. Harold I. Swick, this city; a daughter, Mrs. Sybil Swick Simson, Bronxville; a sister, Mrs. Eva Brace, Dearborn Mich.; six grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren. Burlel will be In the North Ridge cemetery.
