Funeral services will be conducted
Monday at 2 p.m. at the
Rhoney Funeral Home for William
T. Williams, 64, of 3603
Rhode Island Ave, Town of
Niagara, the town's first elected
councilman, who died Friday,
Nov. 25, 3966, at Garden Grove,
Calif., while visiting his son.
Mr. Williams had been in ill
health for several months.
A Town of Niagara resident
for 29 years, Mr. Williams served
on the Nevada Avenue
School Board and was presi-
dent of the board in 1944. He
was a member of the Quarter
Century Club and had worked
for 40 years at the National
Carbon Co.
Survivors include his wife.
Myrtle Maidment Williams;
three sons. Robert J. Williams
of St. Mary's, Pa.; Donald R.
Williams of Garden Grove,
Calif., and Richard P. Williams,
at home; a daughter,
Miss Elizabeth N. Williams,
also at home; a sister, Mrs.
Frank (Jen) Quarters of Detroit,
Mich., and seven grandchildren.
Rev. Eugene Barrett, interim
pastor of Calvary Baptist
Church, will' conduct the funeral
services. Burial will be
in Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family said contributions
to the Youthtime Christian
Center. Buffalo, will be acceptable
as tribute.
