A variety shower was given by Mrs. Crawford McKnight, Mrs. Edward Kochan and Mrs. John Stirling at Mrs. McKnight's home in Woodlawn Avenue. Mrs. William Kelman and Mrs. James Milne entertained at a variety shower at the home of Mrs. Kelman, Willow Avenue. Mrs. John Peunic and Mrs. Catherine Wilson feted Miss Gray at a variety shower at their home in Deuro Drive.. The Misses Jean Condit, Judith Longley, Jane Logan and Martha Morgan entertained at a variety shower at the home of Miss Longley, Niagara Avenue. Miss Gray's co-workers of Union Carbide Metals Co. engineering and construction department honored her with a dinner and shower at the Suburban House, Williamsville. Members of the National Carbon Choraliers and their families honored Miss Gray and her fiance at a picnic at the cottage of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Haseley, near Dunnville, Ont. Following the rehearsal on Friday, Mr. and Mrs. John Gray, parents of the bride, will entertain the wedding party at their home in LaSalle Avenue. -.

  Raymond Specht passed away peacefully with family by his side on October 28, 2021 at the age of 82. Predeceased by his loving wife, Joyce (Gray). He is survived by his children, Laurie (Rich) Sharp, Raymond (Sandy) Specht and Susan (Chris) Caron; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, June (Louis) Barone and Marianne (Ron) Harkins; and his loving companion, Joyce Tornambe. Family will receive friends Thursday, November 4th 3-7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Raymond's service will be held Friday, November 5th at CityHope Wesleyan, 2070 Long Pond Rd. at 11AM. Interment to follow at White Haven Memorial Park.
