GASPORT - Arthur H.
Wendlor, 79, of 3847 Orangeport
Road, here, (died Monday
(June 7, 1971) at Lockport
Memorial Hospital after
a Jong Illness.
.A'native of Wolcottsburg,
N.Y., he was born April 11,
1892, the son.of August and
Louise Stroh Wendler. He was
engaged in farming in his
earlier years and later was
employed as a truck operator
for the Pratt-Lambert Paint
Co.. of Buffalo; retiring in 1964
after 20 years of service.
He was a member of the
Trinity Lutheran, Church of
Lockport and the Lutheran
Layman's League and the
Wolcottsville and Rapids Senior
Citizens.
Widower of Fredericka
Wendjer, who died in 1967, he
is survived by two. daughters,
Mrs, Earl (Adeline) Sohubel
of Akron, N.Y., and, Mrs. Donald
(Barbara) Rlgerman of
Akron, Ohio;- a son, Arthur
F. Wentll r of Gasport; five
listers, Mrs. Gordon Mann
of Gasport, Mrs. William
Zerbst of East Amherst, Mrs.
Earl Benning, and Mrs. William
Drier,'both of Buffalo,
and Mrs.' Frank Flnherty of
Portland, Maine; a brother,
William Wendler of Attica,
N.Y., nine grandchildren and
several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call - Tuesday
from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednes-'
day from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. at the Prudden and
Kandt Funeral Home, 242
Genesee St., where services
will be held at' 2 p.m. Thurs-
day. The Rev. Ernest E.
Heuer will officiate.
Burial will be in Cold
Springs Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to
the Trinity Lutheran Centennial
Fund.
