A wedding charming in its informal
simplicity was solemnized
Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock in
the Salem Evangelical church,
Tonawanda. Miss Lorraine Nancy
Parent, eldest daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Raymond Parent, of 6118 Buffalo
avenue, this city, was united
In marriage to Albert Stahl, sou of
Mr. and Mrs. Reuben stahl, of
Tonawanda. The Rev. Walter Hetzel,
pastor of the church, officiated-
The bride wore an ensemble of
teal blue, consisting of crepe dress,
tweed coat with gray fox collar and
a hat of teal blue straw. She also
wore a corsage of gardenias,
Miss Violet Louise Parent was her
sister's only attendant, She wore a
gown of Suez crepe with matching
coat and hat A corsage of pink
roses completed her costume.
Earl P. Stahl was his brother's
best man.
The mother of the bride wore
dubonnet crepe with a gardenia corsage.
Mrs. Stahl, the groom's mother,
wore black crepe with a corsage of
gardenias. Mrs. Thomas Parent, the
bride's grandmother, was charming
In black velvet with a corsage of
pink roses and sweet, peas.
Aftor the ceremony dinner was
served at tha bride's home. Covers
for 13 were laid at the bride's Utble,
which was centered with a threetiered
wedding cake and bridal
rosea. Three generations of each
family were alto seated with the
bridal couple.
Durtng the evening a reception
was held for the-mary friends of
the popular couple.
After a. short wedding trip, Mr.
and Mrs. Stahl will reside In Linwood
avenue, Tonawanda.
