- Margaret E. "Maggie" Fortune Obituary
Margaret E. ''Maggie'' Fortune 73 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Schoellkopf Health Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on March 6, 1951 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Velma (McCullough) Stahlman.
Maggie worked at the Niagara Falls Community Mission and as a registered nurse at Erie County Medical Center. She was a faithful member of Bacon Memorial Presbyterian Church and she loved her dogs and cats.
She is survived by her daughter, Alicia (Jamie) Richardson, grandson, Jackson; her partner of 40 years, James Copia; sisters: Joann (Rev. Richard) Neumann and Irene (Jeff) Fraser-Young. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Marcia J. Gilbo.
Friends may call Wednesday, October 2nd from 3-6 PM at Bacon Memorial Presbyterian Church, 166 59th Street, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin at 5:30PM, with Pastor Lisa Giacomazza officiating. In Lieu of flowers, donations in Maggie's memory may be made to Bacon Memorial Presbyterian Church, 166 59th Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC.
