The ceremony took place Saturday

Ghost Lutheran church, the Rev. J.
Kuchenbecker officiating.
To the strains of Lehengrin's wed-
ding march, played by Hugo Gade,
organist, the bridal party entered the
church, which was filled to capacity.
The church was artistically decorated
with numerous baskets of pink and
white roses, Easter lilies, ferns, yellow
daffodils and many other flowers now
in season.
The bride looked beautiful in a
tight fitted white satin gown, fash
ioned with a Calla lily train and had
several rows of tiny buttons of same
material in fron tand one row of same
trimming in the back from neck to
her waist line. It had long sleeves,
high neck and was floor length. Her
long silk tulle veil, which was trim-
med on either side with wide silk
Chantilly lace, and was cap shape,
Venetian style, was trimmed with
rows of pearls. She carried a large
old fashioned bouquet of white bridal
roses, white sweet peas and smilax.
The maid of honor, Miss Gladys
Urtel, niece of the bride, looked
sharming in a tight fitting floor
length yellow taffeta gown. She car-
ried an old fashioned bouquet of yel-
low roses, yellow Shasta daisies and
smilax.
The bridesmaids were Miss Irene
Urtel, niece of the bride, Miss Mil-

Miss Urtel and Miss Wurl looked
lovely in pale blue tight fitting floor
length taffeta gowns. Jane and a.

pale pink roses and sweet peas and
smilax.

color silk crepe Shirley Temple dress.
She carried a small decorated basket
with pink and white roses.
The groom, who was assisted by
Bruno Schultz, came from the sacristy
and met the bride at the altar. The
ushers were Arthur Stange and Ger-
hard Zuch.
The members of the Walther Lea-
gue, of which the bride was a mem-
ber, sang a sacred number with Mr.
Gade at the organ, just before the
ceremony. The double ring service
was used. Benediction followed the
marriage ceremony.
Mrs. Ostwald, mother of the bride,
wore a handsome gown of brown fig-
ured crepe and Mrs. Zuch, mother
of the groom, wore a becoming gown
of black silk crepe. Mrs. Walter Urtel,
matron of honor, and sister of the
bride, chose a stunning gown of blue
figured silk crepe.
After the service a reception fol-
lowed at the home of the bride for
over 140 guests. The bride's table
was centered with a large tiered wed-
ding cake, handsomely decorated, and
the bride's bouquet, and was set for
about 30 guests. A delicious chicken
dinner was served.
