YOUNGSTOWN - Alfred W.
Broeker, 77, of 530 Main St.,
died at his home Monday {Feb.
19, 1968) after a long illness.
He was born July 1, 1890 in
Niagara Falls and lived here
for 75 years/ He was manager
of the Temperance House Farm
for 45 years until his retirement
in I960.
Mr. Broeker was a member
of. the Youngstown Volunteer
Fire Co. for 35 years and then
a member of the Exempt Fire
Co.
He was a life member of the
Niagara County Farm Bureau
and a member of St. John's Lutheran
Chuitrh" here..
Mr. Broeker is survived by his
widow> Helene_Sieck Broeker;
a daughter, Mrs. Clifford (Virginia).
Lockmiller, Youngstown;
three brothers, Arthur and Ervin-
Broeker, both of Youngstown,
and Roy Broeker, Niagara
Falls; four sisters, Mrs. AHa
Cornell, Wilson, Mrs. Philip
Nichols, Lewiston, Mrs. Walter
Bars and Mrs. Fred Lloyd, both
of Youngstown; two grandchildren
and two great grandchil
dren. - .
Funeral services will be held
at 2 p.m. Thursday at the' Lane
Funeral Home, 135 Lockport St.,
Youngstown, and at 2:30 p.m.
at St. John's Lutheran Church.
The Rev. Elvin J. Riemer will
officiate. Burial will be in Oakland
Rural Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9
p.m. today and from.2 to 4 and
7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
The family said contributions
to St. John's Lutheran Church
building fund or the Niagara
County Heart Association would
be acceptable as^ tribute.
