  NORTH TONAWANDA - Theodore H. Werth, 77, of 209 Linwood Ave., this city, a former superintendent of public works and a former alderman, died Sunday (May 31, 1964) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a long illness.He was a life long resident of this city and a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church, Gratwick Hose Co. No. 6 and the Firemen's Benevolent Association. Surviving are his wife, the former Anna Hauser; a son, Kenneth E. Werth; a daughter, Mrs. Edwin (Ruth) Schroeder, two sisters, Mrs. Willliam Stoeckel and Miss Jesse Strassburg;, two brothers, Edward and Gustave Werth, all of this city; and four grandchildren. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home until 10 a.m.. Wednesday where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church by Rev. Loren J. Shiley. Burial will be in .St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery.
