NORTH TONAWANDA
Mrs. Florence Durkee, 70, .
of 350 Ward Rd., mother of
former Mayor Frederick B.
Durkee, died unexpectedly
Saturday evening (Feb. 7,
1959) at her home.
She was born in Buffalo
and had lived in this city for
the last 42 years. She was a
member of St. Peter's United
Church of Christ
Besides her son, Frederick,
she is survived by three
other sons, Edward R., William
E. and Wallace N. Durkee,
all of this city; a daughter,
Mrs. Albert Stieg, Town
of Wheatfield; 12 grandchlldren
and two greatgrandchildren.
The Rev. Donald Storm
will conduct funeral services
1 p.m. Wednesday at the
Wattengel Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Resthave
Cemetery.
