Games and music were features of the evening, prizes being awarded to the Misses Elsa Buth of Buffalo, Pauline Dornfeldt and Irene Niene, who presented them to Miss Witkop. Luncheon'was served to sixteen at two tables, centered with cut flowers, a'corsage of sweet peas marking Miss Witkop's place. Miss Witkop was the recipient of many attractive gifts.

  North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 2/16/1955 LORENZ - Edwin W. Lorenz, 57, of 170 Ellicott Creek Rd., Tonawanda, died Wednesday (Feb. 16, 1955) in Buffalo General Hospital after a few week's illness. Born in Tonawanda, he was a lifelong resident of the city. He is survived by his wife, Mildred (nee Witkop) Lorenz; a daughter, Miss Myra M. Lorenz, and a son, Sherwood E. Lorenz, both at home; three sisters, Mrs. William F. Pagels, Mrs. Emery Martin and Miss Mathilda E. Lorenz, all of the.Tonawandas. Mr. Lorenz was a member of the Lutheran Lay-; men's League and the Remington Rand 25-Year Club. He had been with Remington Rand 29 years. Friends may call at the John O. Roth Funeral Home, 60 Morgan St., Tonawanda, where services will be conducted Saturday by the Rev. Theodore Schroeder at 2 o'clock and at 2:30 in Immanuel Lutheran Church. Burial in Elmlawn Cemetery.
