  Kingson NY Daily Freeman - 12/1/1963 BATAVIA, N.Y. (AP) - A farmer has received a prison term of from five to 10 years for shooting his 76-year-old mother to death during a family argument. Judge Philip J. Weiss of Genesee County Court Monday sentenced Howard C. Roggow, 52, on a reduced charge of first-degree manslaughter. State Police said Roggow shot his mother, Mrs. Cora Roggow, with a rifle because she ordered furniture moved from his bedroom to make room for a guest Roggow also wounded hit brother, Christopher, 44, during the incident on the family farm near here last July 15, troopers said.
