  11 April 1964 Tonawanda News 2 Brothers Killed in Auto Accident AKRON (UPI) – Two brothers were killed today when their car went out of control and hit a tree near this Erie County village. Authorities at Genesee Memorial Hospital in Batavia identified the victims as James Mellenthien, 21, of East Pembroke, who was dead on arrival, and Allen, 27, of Batavia, who died at the hospital.
