LOCKPORT William P.
Strassel Sr., 70, of 101 Woodlawn
Ave., died today {Dec. 7,
196a) at Roswell Park Memorial
Institute, Buffalo, after a long
illness.
He was born in Lockport,
Dec. 18, 1897, the son of William
P. and Frances O'Connell
Strassel and was a lifelong
resident. He was a foreman in
the tool room at the Harrison
Radiator Division of General
Motors Corp.; for 41 years retiring
in 1962. He was a member
of St. John's Church. , .
He is survived by his wife,
Alice Curtis Strassel, three
sons,, Donald C. Strassel
Newark, N.Y., William P. Jr
and James E. Strassel both ol
Lockport, a sister, Mrs. Franklin
Oakes of Buffalo; two
brothers, Claude - Strassel of
Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Leon
P. Strassel of" Lockport, 10
grandchildren and several
nieces and nephews.

and Reynolds Funeral
Home where services will be
held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday foi
lowed by a requiem Mass at
9 a.m. at" St. Patricks Church.
The Rosary will be recited
at 8 p.m. Monday at the fu
neraihome.
Burial will be in Cold Spring
Cemetery.
