services from the Bell Funeral Chapel.

11th at 1:00 P. M., Rev. Arthur H.
Schmoyer, DD., officiating. Interment
In Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at
the Chapel from 2 to 4 P.M. and 7
to 9 PM. Friday

A resident of this city for 50
years, Herbert C. Wendt Sr., 58. of
1202 Calumet Ave., died yesterday
(Aug. 8, 1956) at Memorial Hospital
after a short illness.
Born in Ottawa, Ont.. Mr. Wendt
was employed as a yard superintendent
at the Wicker Lumber Co.
where he worked for 22 years,
Prior to joining Wicker, he worked
at the Haeberle Lumber Co.
Surviving are three sons, Robert
V. Wendt. Kenneth R. Wendt, and
Herbert C. Wendt Jr., a sister, Mrs.
Margaret Sylvester, and a brother,
William M. Wendt, all of this city.
Funeral services will be held at
the Bell Funeral Chapel Saturday
at t p.m. with the Rev. Arthur H.
Schmoyer, DD., officiating. Interment
will be in Memorial Park
Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral
home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and
from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 lo 9 p.m.
tomorrow.
