WILLIAM RICKERT DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS
William Rickert, 71 years old, a retired farmer, died at his home at No 402 Wheatfield street yesterday afternoon after a lingering illness. He was born in Germany. He settled in America 52 years ago, locating at LaSalle. Removing to St. Johnsburg a few years later, he resided there until retiring and taking up his home in North Tonawanda ten years ago. He is survived by a wife, two daughters, Mrs. William Rosebrock and Mrs. William. Werth. five grandchildren, all of North Tonawanda: one brother, Charles Rickert of Niagara Falls, and two sisters, Mrs. George Enos of Niagara Falls and Mrs. Jacob Luick of LaSalle. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the late residence and half an hour later from the St. Matthew's church on Wheatfield street. Rev. Carl Frankenstein officiating. Burial will be in the St. Matthew's cemetery
