  KENMORE — Martha A. (nee Strothmann) Butz, age 87, of the City of Tonawanda, Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Kenmore Mercy Hospital. Martha was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in North Tonawanda. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Edwin “Bud” Butz; two sons, Barry (Connie) Butz of Mt. Vernon, OH and Jeffrey Butz of Sunbury, OH; four grandchildren, Craig Butz of San Francisco, CA, Mark (Kate) Butz of Asheville, NC, Jeffrey A. Butz of Sunbury, OH, and Nicole Butz of Blacklick, OH; two great-grandsons, Haydin and Rowan Butz of Asheville, NC; her sister, Amy Blue of Belleville, IL; and two brothers, Clem Strothmann of Seymour, IN and Daniel (Polly) Strothmann of Greenfield, IN. She was predeceased by six sisters and nine brothers. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Sunday from 2:30 until 4 PM at John O. Roth Funeral Home, Inc., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.), in Tonawanda, where funeral services will be conducted at 4 PM following the visitation. The Rev. David Beutel will officiate. A private burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Hamburg, NY. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial contributions may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
