Woleottsvllle. Dec. 19-John Carl
Frederick Faskel, whose funeral was
held Sunday afternoon at St. Michaels
church, was born July 31, 1869
at Wolcottsburg, N, Y., at which
place he also spent the greatest part
of his life. In 1894 he was married
to Helen Benthine, who now, with
her four children and three brothers
of the deceased, survive.
Twelve, years ago Mr. Faskel
moved into this neighborhood, settling
on a farm along the ditch road.
Abo it the same time he suffered an
attack of pneumonia. This and subsequent
asthma weakened his lungs
and finally resulted in tuberculosis,'
thus bringing on his untimely death.
The large attendance and the
beautiful floral gifts at his funeral
proved that the deceased had gained
the respect and friendship of many
in this community
