WOLCOTTSVILLE, Sept 12 -
The funeral of Mrs. Lena Wagner,
wife of William Wagner of the
Ditch road, was held Friday afternoon
at the St. Michael's church, of
which the deceased was a member.
Mrs. Wagner had been in ill
health for some time and until
about three weeks before her death
was confined to her bed.
She left to mourn her loss besides
her husband, three sons Herbert
and Alvin Faskel at home and
Walter Faskel of Bradford, Pa.; one
daughter, Mrs. George Sanderson of
Gasport, three brothers and three
sustcrs.
The bearers were John Rewalt,
Paul Reimer, Henry G. Bruning,
Fred Stahl. 8r., George Voelkerand
Andrew Mietz. Four nieces of the
deceased were flower girls.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Faskel of
Bradford, Pa., who have spent the
past week here on account of the
death of Mr. Fa.skel s mother, Mrs,
Ix-na Wagner, have returned home.
The people of Wolcottsville were
shocked to hear Saturday of the
°serious illness of William Wagner,
although Mr. Wagner has not been
feeling well the past few weeks. He
attended his wife's funeral Friday
afternoon and was taken seriously
ill. On Saturday he was taken to
the Lockport city hospital where
he underwent a serious operation.
