The marriage of Miss Catherine M
Argy, daughter of Mrs. Catherine
Argy, of Eleventh street, to Edwin J.
Cronin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick
Cronin, Twelfth street, was solemnized
at 9 o'clock Saturday morning in St.
Mary's of the Cataract, the Rev. C.
F. Killeen, officiating.
The bride was gowned in white lace
over satin, made on straight lines. She
wore a lace hat and carried a bouquet
of white roses and baby's breath.
Miss Louise Argy, sister of the bride
and her only attendant, was attired
in blue moire taffeta, with matching
accessories, and carried a bouquet of
pink roses and baby's breath. Eugene
Cronin, brother of the groom, wah
best man.
Following the ceremony a wedding
breakfast was served the immediate
families at the Red Coach Inn,
Mr. and Mrs. Cronin left on a
motor trip to points east. Mrs. Cronin
travelled in a brown woolsult, a
trlcorne hat of brown felt and matching
accessories.
Pre-nuptial affairs included a bathroom
shower by Mrs. M. J . Argy, Jr.,
and the Misses Louise and Marion
Argy; a linen shpwer by Miss Inez
Murphy; a miscellaneous shower by
Mrs. E. J. Wahl; a crystal shower by
the Misses Alice and Genevieve Argy,
and a kitchen shower by Mrs. E, P.
Bush. The bridal couple was also
entertained by Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Flanagan, of this city, and Mr. and
Mrs. LaMont Francis, of Kenmore.
