  Niagara Gazette - 4/7/1959 NORTH TONAWANDA— Michael J. Susty, 53, of. 278 Shartle PL, deputy welfare com m i s s i o n e r of Niagara County, died Tuesday (April 7, 1959 in De Graff Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. A lifelong resident of this city, he was a member of Ascension Church and the Elks Lodge No. 860. His wife, Edna E. Susty, died Feb. 5 this year. Survivors include a daughter, Sarah Susty, and three brothers, Edwin, Andrew and John Susty, all of the Tonawandas. Prayers will be said at 8:30 a.m. Friday in the Wattengel FUneral Home and there will be a Requiem Mass at 9 in Ascension Church. Burial will be in Mt, Olivet Cemetery.
