Daniel A. Seburn
Dies at Age of 86
One of the city's oldest residents
Daniel A. Seburn. died yes-
terday morning (Aug. 21, 1955) at
Memorial Hospital. He was 86
years old and had been in failing
health for several months.
Mr. Seburn resided at 1020
South Ave. for the last 60 years. He
was employed by the Carborundum
Co. for 35 years until his retirement
several years ago.
Born near Aylmer, Ont., he was
the son of the late John Seburn and
Gillmore Seburn of St. Johns, Ont.
He married Carrie Swain, daughter
of Benjamin Swain, 60 yean ago.
She died 30 years ago.
Anna Burnett became his second
wife 28 years ago. She died in 1951.
Surviving' are one stepson, Amos
Gardner; two step granddaughters,
Mrs. John Walton and Mrs. Harold
Matthews; two step grandsons,
Francis Strong and Kenneth Strong,
all of this city; two nieces and one
nephew.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow
afternoon at 2:30 at the
Cornell and Daggett Funeral Chapel.
Interment will be in Oakwood
Cemetery.
