- Two automobile accidents on the Niagara Falls boulevard yesterday afternoon and last evening resulted in the death of one child and the serious injury of another. .Norman Broecker, ten years old, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Broecker of the Niagara Falls boulevard near the Nash road, died shortly after 5 o'clock last night form injuries which he received two hours before, when he was run over by one of the big auto trucks of Jacob Moschels Sons, meat packers of No. 153 Peckham street. Buffalo. Broecker and a younger brother Donald, were riding on a bicycle
which the older boy was operating when they were struck by the Moschels
truck, bound from Niagara Fal!s to Buffalo. Norman Broecker was hurled under the wheels of the truck which passed over him. His right hip and leg were crushed. The other lad was thrown clear of the machine and escaped with slight injuries. Dr. J. E. Helwig was called. He found the seriously injured boy bleeding profusely. and ordered him rushed to the DeGraff Memorial hospital. While Dr. Helwig assisted by Dr. R. P. Reagan, was working over the boy he died. Death was due to the loss
of blood and shock. Coroner F. A. Kittinger of Lockport took charge of the case.
