- Norman L. Lounsbury, age 69, of Niagara Falls, NY, was called home to heaven on Friday, April 30, 2010 at Niagara Hospice House, Lockport, NY. Born on December 1, 1940 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Leslie and Evelyn (Schultz) Lounsbury. Mr. Lounsbury was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and offended local schools. Mr. Lounsbury worked as a Laborer for General Abrasives in Niagara Falls, NY. He retired after 30 years of service. Affectionately known as "Stormon Norman", he enjoyed wrestling, bingo and was an avid Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres Fan. Mr. Lounsbury is survived by his sister, Charlene M. Wagner; three nieces, Kathryn M. (Michael) Pooley, Joyce A. (Kirk) Williams and Norene R. (Thomas) Douglas. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews as well as many extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, Norman was predeceased by sisters, Norene M. Lounsbury and Joyce Ann Lounsbury; and wives, Margaret (Leposky) Lounsbury and June (Pollow) Lounsbury. Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 PM at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, LASALLE PARK CHAPEL, 2215 MILITARY RD., NIAGARA FALLS (297-9007) where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 2759 Military Rd.
