NORTH RIDGE - Funeral ser-
ices for Homer E. Swick, 84, who
died at Fort Myer, Fla., on Friday,
January 24, were held at the Prud-
den funeral home in Lockport at
2:30 o'clock last Friday with the
Rev. Paul Morrison, pastor of Im-
manuel Methodist church of Lock-
port officiating. Burial was in the
family plot in the North ridge
cemetery. The pallbearers were
three nephews, Huey B. Lafler, of
North Ridge; Harold Swick, of Nia-
gara Falls, and Halle Scoby, of
Lockport, and three residents of
Kane. Pa.
Mr. Swick is survived by one son,
Elton, of Kane, Pa.; three brothers,
Eugene, Of Jackson, Mich., John L.
and Ira W. Swick, of Niagara Falls,
and one sister, Mrs. Eva Brace, of
Dearborn, Mich.
He was born in the town of Wil-
son, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Augus-
tin W. Swick. He resided in this
community for many years, later
moving to Buffalo where he en-
gaged in the grocery business. Of
late years he had resided in Kane,
Pa., passing his winters in Florida.
His wife, the former Miss Carrie
Van Dusen, died several years ago.
