  Niagara Gazette - 8/28/1905 Henry Highland, one of tho oldest and best known residents of the city,died yesterday afternoon at his home.No. 369 First street . of heart failure. He had been In falling health since last May. The deceased was 74 years old and besides his wife Is survived by two sons, Harry and Caswell. Th e deceased was born In England and had resided in. this city since 1854. For a great many years he resided on Goat Island with his family, he having been a reservation officer for a long time. It was only a few years ago that he removed from the Island, the old residence being torn down In accordance with the orders issued by the reservation commissioners." The funeral will be held from the house tomorrow afternoon at to'clock. Flowers thankfully declined. Interment in Oakwood.
