Miss Myrtle E. Swick, 77,, of
1624 Niagara Ave., died Fri-
day (Oct. 26, 1962) in Mount
St. Mary's Hospital.
A native of Williamsport,
Pa., she was the daughter of
the later John and Eva Swick
of this city. The family oper-
ated a grocery business here.
Miss Swick was a graduate
dietitian of the Rochester In-
stitute of Technology. She
worked for many years in
Hawaii as a dietitian in insti-
tutions catering to the young.
She returned to Niagara
Falls about 16 years ago and
worked at Mount St. Mary's
Hospital. She was a member
of the First Baptist Church
and the Golden Age Club.
Survivors include a brother,
Reading Swick, of Spokane,
Wash., and several cousins in
this area.
Rev. Edward Gunther, past-
or of the First Baptist Church,
will officiate at funeral serv-
ices at the Cornell and Dag-
gett Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Tues-
day. Burial will be in North
Ridge Cemetery.
The family will be present
on Sunday and Monday from
1 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
