The seven-month-old son of
a Niagara Falls Air Force
man recently transferred to
Alaska, d i e d unexpectedly
this morning (Jan. 31, 1962) at
the home of his grandparents
in the Town of Cambria.
He was Francis Galleciez
III, son of Airman second
class Francis Galleciez Jr. and
Mrs. Galleciez. The. child died
at the home of the father's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis
Galleciez, 4825 Lewiston-Cambria
Town Line Road, where
he had been living for the
last few weeks.
Airman Galleciez, who had
been stationed at Condon,
Ore., with the 636th Radron
unit for the last 2-1/2 years,
was transferred to Anchorage,
Alaska, slightly more than
two weeks ago. Before leaving,
he had returned his wife
and son to his grandparents'
home.
The Red Cross was in process
of notifying the father
of the child's death today.
Coroner F. Eugene Ingram
listed pneumonia as the cause
of death.
Survivors include, in addition
to the parents and grandparents.
Mr. and Mrs. William
Davis, Condon, Ore., the maternal
grandparents, and a
great grandfather, J. F r e d erick
Doyle, Cambria.
Funeral arrangements were
being made today by the
Rhoney Funeral Home.
