Stanley C. Hasselfelt, 65, of
2851 Macklem Ave., died in
Roswell Park Memorial Institute,
Buffalo, late Satur
day (Feb. 22, 1964) after an
illness of several months.
Mr. Hasselfelt retired two
years ago from the Lehigh
Valley Railroad after being
a locomotive engineer for
more than 40 years. He continued
on as secretary-treasurer
of the Brotherhood of
Locomotive Engineers Local
594 and at the time of his
death had held that office
for 15 years.
Born in Hamilton, Ont, he
lived in Toronto before coming
here in 1920.
Surviving are his wife,
Jessie Hasselfelt; a daughter,
Mrs. Joseph A. Tavano, this
city; two brothers, Russell
and Charles Hasselfelt, both
of Toronto a sister, Mrs.
Irene Thornback, Orangeyille,
Ont; and one granddaughter.
Rev. Harrie S. Young, pastor
of First Christian Church,
will officiate at the funeral
at the Rhoney Funeral Home
at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial
will be in Memorial Park
Cemetery.
