  April 2, 2012 Hubert E. Stubbs Niagara Gazette MT. PROSPECT, IL — Stubby, as he was called, passed away February 26, 2012 in Mt. Prospect, IL. Born the son of Hubert D. Stubbs and Verona Myers Stubbs (both deceased), on June 23, 1927. He worked for Moore Business Forms in Niagara Falls before being transferred to the Chicago area, where he lived and raised his family. He is survived by four daughters, Gail Klick of Plain, WI, JoAnn Stubbs of Mt. Prospect, IL, Lezlie Chausse of Roselle, IL, Erica Schmack of Franklin Park, IL; and five grandsons, Tim, Nathan, Taylor, Trevor and Lance. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Knowles Stubbs. Besides his children, he is survived by his step-mother, Marian Stubbs of Shinglehouse, PA and sisters, Cherie Garling of Sanborn, NY, Jean Greene of Ellenville, NY; a brother, Jon Stubbs of Coulderport, PA and a deceased sister, Karen Mitchell of Williamsburg, VA.
