  Buffalo Express Oct 6, 1918 North Tonawanda, Oct 6 - John F. Badrow. 53 years old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Badrow of Bergholtz, is the second youth from that hamlet to die in the present war. He was killed in action on September 8th and news of his death was received by his father here today from the war department. Badrow was one of the drafted men and left Lockport with the county contingent in February. He was employed in the lumber yard of A. Weston & Son here up to the time he was called. He was the seventh man from this vicinity to meet death in battle.
